What is Good Fork Nashville?

Good Fork Nashville is a guide to vegetarian food in Nashville that doesn't suck. No generic "best of" lists written by people who've never been here. No sponsored content pretending to be recommendations. Just real info about places I've actually eaten.

Why this exists

My parents love coming to town to eat with me, but it's always the same question,
"Where can you eat?"
Well, I can eat just about anywhere in town... and I'm not settling for a side salad.
Nashville has great vegetarian food if you know where to look, but most guides are either written by content farms or focus on the same five obvious spots.

This site is for people who actually want to find good food, not just survive being vegetarian in Nashville. Places where you can bring your meat eating friends and family without anyone feeling like they're compromising.

How it works

I love to go out to eat and I eat at all these restaurants. Sometimes too often.
That's it.
If it's on this site, I've been there and ordered vegetarian food. I'm not copying Yelp reviews or rewriting press releases. I'm telling you what actually showed up on the plate and whether it was worth it.

The filters are designed around real questions... what neighborhood, what price range, what vibe. Not "farm to table" or "locally sourced" or whatever buzzwords restaurants throw around now.

Who's behind this

I'm Chan, a web designer and developer based in Nashville. I've been vegan and then vegetarian for years and got tired of the same mediocre options. I built this site because I wanted it to exist.

This isn't a food blog. I'm not a professional food critic. I'm just someone who eats a lot and knows how to build websites.

Do you know a spot that I missed?

If there's a restaurant in Nashville with good vegetarian options that's not on here, let me know!! I'm always looking for new places to try. Just don't suggest somewhere that only has one sad veggie burger or a "build your own salad" situation.
